Two Arrested for Vehicle Thefts & Break-ins
During the night of May 9th/early this morning May 10th Deputy Michael Davis and Corporal William D Langley took a report of breaking or entering and theft from a vehicle on Ashtin place off of highway 38 outside Ward city limits. While investigating this Deputies worked with the victims and tracked a stolen laptop to an address on Deer Creek drive in Cabot. At the address deputies made contact with 25 year old Curtis Yaeger and 21 year old Cheyenne Taylor. After interviewing the couple; deputies learned that the two deliver newspapers for the Democrat Gazette in the area of many vehicle break-ins. The two were cooperative and investigators have confirmed the couple committed numerous vehicle break-ins and thefts. The investigators located narcotics, drug paraphernalia, a large amount of stolen property and will continue to work to locate other stolen property. The two were charged with Breaking or entering, theft of property, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription medicine without prescription and are being held at the Lonoke County Sheriff's Detention Center pending bond or first appearance.
